Materials


We create new, biodegradable thermoplastic materials based on natural raw materials and we are looking for areas of their use in order to replace traditional (everlasting) plastics. We also use innovative materials from other suppliers, such as biodegradable and compostable filaments based on e.g. wood.


The main problem that GREENFILL3D intends to solve is the growing demand of companies for ecological materials, in line with the assumptions of green marketing and the zero waste concept. The solution is a response to the needs of companies looking for alternative materials and methods of production of POS materials and advertising items, although we do not limit ourselves to only this one type of application.

The first material of this type created by GREENFILL3D is GF3D Branfill3d - a composite of PLA and wheat bran. On the one hand, the material is completely biodegradable, and on the other, it has a flexibility and elasticity similar to that of selected industrial plastics.

In production, we also use the materials of our technological partner ROSA PLAST Sp. z o.o., which are also fully biodegradable and compostable.

GF3D Branfill3d

Wheat bran filament

The GF3D Branfill3d is made of a biopolymer consisting of 100% natural and 100% renewable resources. It is filled with wheat bran, which gives it a unique surface finish and scent of baked bread. The scent also persists on finished 3D prints.

Depending on the wall thickness of item, it can be quite flexible and resilient (but not flexible). 3D prints can be subjected to mechanical processing. Recommended for work with larger printheads (up from 0.6 mm) due to the wheat bran.

ROSA3D BioWOOD

Wood filament

The BioWOOD filament is made of a biopolymer consisting of 100% natural and 100% renewable resources. It can be decomposed in the composting process. The material consists of powdered wood, giving finished 3D prints a natural, organic look.

3D prints from BioWOOD can be subjected to mechanical processing (grinding, turning, drilling, etc.) as well as painting and varnishing, like wooden elements.

ROSA3D BioCREATE

Compostable filament

The BioCREATE filament has a high temperature resistance (Vicat softening point: 114°C). It is made of a biopolymer consisting of 100% natural resources. It decomposes in the natural environment under anaerobic conditions (compost) within 12 weeks.

The material from which the BioCreate filament is made is approved for contact with food. However, in the case of products that come into contact with food, the obligation to certify rests with the manufacturer of the final product.
